Our First Annual Initiative

God said, “I need you to feed my son’s & daughters.” Caught up in inflation and the world around us, we have often neglected those who are most vulnerable. In our day-to-day activities, we get caught up in providing for ourselves and not making it a habit to also include giving to others. We say, Lord we can barely feed ourselves, Lord we don’t have enough, Lord what we have is not good enough. What you may deem to be not enough, can be the change in another person’s day. As giving is very much a part of life we are called to live, the initiative to Feed My Sons and Daughters was created. This is the first of what is an annual give away and we would love for you to partner with us. Through either donations or volunteering, you can make an impact in a larger way.

Event Summary August 24 2024

God said prepare 200 and we did just that. We danced, sang, smiled and spoke to many individuals while handing out food, water, bibles and prayer cards in the downtown core of Toronto.

This was the first of our annual Feed My Son’s and Daughter’s event and we had an amazing time! God showed up and made sure there were people ready to receive. Never underestimate the power of your yes! Showing up when God has asked you to, may look intimidating, overwhelming and impossible, but with God everything will fall into place. We couldn’t have known how it would go, but we prepared the care packages, we packed the vehicle, and we drove downtown in anticipation. We only took one photo, and it was to show what God could do with just one yes! With 200 individual bags prepared, we can attest that this year was a huge success. As God is already getting us ready for next year, considering being a part of it in whichever way you feel led to, whether that is through donation or volunteering. Until next year, don’t forget about your neighbours and that you can make a difference in the life of someone else.
